Frequently Asked Questions
A. Ensure you clean the infuser properly, use an alcohol solution to wash through it as taught in training and slowly release water through the tip a number of times. If problem persists pull the infuser apart referencing the training manual and ensure each section is completely clean.
A. Yes, the infusions will not be harmful to your client so depending on degree of problem use clarity and opulence once a week each, for six week, then give twice monthly infusions alternating treatments. You can tailor this between infusions to best suit your clients needs. However you can never combine two serums into the applicator pot. In saying ‘combining infusions’ we mean doing consecutive infusions on the same client.
A. Our physician accounts use the Rejuvenate Infusion on laser ablated skin (non-intact skin) for skin recovery purposes. The Rejuvenate Infusion is often recommended by physicians as a calming, cooling skin treatment post Fraxel, post IPL, or 5-7 days after a deep peel treatment.
A. Cosmetics and Cosmeceuticals are not tested for reproductive toxicology and Intraceuticals has not been tested. It is a personal choice between the client and her physician if any products should be used during pregnancy. Clients should refer to physician for this answer.
A. No, Intraceuticals does not test on animals nor do we support this practice.
A. The modified Hyaluronic technology will enhance absorption of all ingredients applied to the skin before or after an Intraceuticals infusion. For this reason – chemical peels should not be applied immediately before an Intraceuticals Infusions. Additionally, unpredictable ingredients such as Alpha Hydroxy Acids, Retinols and Hydroquinone should not be applied immediately before or after an Intraceuticals Infusion. Ask your client to wait 24-48 hours before re-introducing AHA’s, Retinoic acid, or Hydroquinone to their home care regimen. If you are under the care of a physician for any health condition, or taking any prescribed acne treatment you should consult with them prior to any skin care treatment.
A. Intraceuticals treatment lines can be combined. However never combine more than one type of serum in the applicator pot. Complete one infusion, then follow with the second one.
